Web design and development are essential components of building a successful online presence for any business. Green LED Lighting Solutions (GLLS) approached us with the need for a complete website rebuild and redesign, along with setting up SEO and utilizing the Webflow CMS and CSV import.
Introduction
One of the main issues we encountered was the URL structure of the old website. It was poorly designed and needed to be fixed for the new website. To address this issue, we set up 301 redirects to ensure that visitors could still access the old pages while the new site was being built. This also helped to preserve any existing search engine rankings that the old site had.
Another challenge we faced was creating a completely new look and feel for the website. We worked closely with the GLLS team to understand their brand and aesthetic preferences, and then designed a website that reflected those values. The new design was clean, modern, and easy to navigate, with a focus on highlighting GLLS's products and services.
To ensure that the new website was easy to manage and update, we utilized the Webflow CMS. The CMS allowed us to create a custom backend for GLLS, which enabled them to manage their products, content, and other site features easily. The Webflow CMS also provided a flexible platform for integrating with other tools and services, such as the CSV import feature that allowed GLLS to import and manage their product catalog with ease.
Conclusion
One of the main benefits of using Webflow was that it allowed us to build a website that was not only visually appealing but also optimized for search engines. The Webflow platform includes many built-in SEO tools and features that enabled us to set up meta descriptions, title tags, and other critical SEO elements for each page of the site.
